You will also be supported to create a portfolio of your work and build professional, project management and interview skills. To be eligible for the course you must:
have basic digital skills (no prior coding experience is necessary)
be interested in coding and able to commit your time to the course
priority will be given to residents who are seeking work and interested in a career in the tech industry.
Phoenix resident Ose completed the coding course last year and has now gained a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship. Ose said: “If you like puzzles, mathematics, organising or puzzles, coding is for you. And if you don’t, still try it, it is a new language. The course is perfect to make a sound decision to see if it is something you would like to pursue.”
Bookings are now closed for this course but look out for the next one.
